Mr. Edward Saddler Sr.

Mr. Edward Saddler Sr. was born on September 7, 1943 to the late Boyd Saddler Sr. and Lena B. Toland Saddler.

Mr. Saddler was educated in Newberry County and was employed by Trinity Farms, where he retired from after 34 years of faithful service. Mr. Saddler was a faithful member of Trinity A. M. E. Church, where he served on several Trustee boards. He also worked in the community collecting donations for the church and volunteering his time to assist in the church, wherever needed. Mr. Saddler was also a member of Mt. Nebo Lodge # 460.

Left to continue his legacy and carry on the tradition are a son; Edward (Vega) Saddler Jr. of Columbia, SC, a daughter; Yvette (James) Bookman of Laurens, SC, one sister; Dorothy Sanders and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by two sisters; Virginia Saddler and Lois Wilson, five brothers; Herbert, Ernest, JC, Boyd Jr. and Johnny Saddler and one son, Jeffrey Saddler.

On Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital he accepted the master's call.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 7, 2022 from 2-6 pm at Wilson Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be 12:00 pm Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Wilson Funeral Home.
