Mr. Eli Montia Bowers entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 6, 2023. He was born on May 11, 1953 to the late Willie E. Bowers and the late Ruby Lee Mayers Bowers.
He was a member of Providence AME Church and a member of the Sons Of Aide.
Eli was predeceased by one daughter, Montina Bowers; three sisters, Betty A. Bowers, Mattie Ruth B. Williams and Imogene B. Mayers; two brothers, James Willie Bowers Sr. and Cleveland A. Bowers.
Those who celebrate his life and cherish loving memories, include one daughter, Tahnicha Praylow Jackson of Prosperity, SC; grandchildren, Tahkynah Praylow, Tyhenreia Hall, Tynique Jackson, Tyjerious Praylow and Tyquanrius Martin; six great grandchildren; one sister, Loretta B. Moon of Little Mountain, SC; three brothers, Sylvesta E. Bowers Sr. (Nancy), Ollie L. Bowers (Sandra) both of Little Mountain, SC and Command Sergeant Major (Retired) Timothy O. Bowers Sr. (Melinda) of Decatur, AL; one sister-in-law, Dorristeen H. Bowers of Little Mountain, SC; one aunt, Bettie Lee Mayers and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 from 2 to 6 pm in the parlor of Wilson Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Mr. Eli M. Bowers will be conducted on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 1:00 pm in the sanctuary of Providence A. M.E. Church in Little Mountain, SC.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
A face mask is required at the home, in the parlor and at the church the day of the service.
