Mr. Ernest Lee "Frog" Thompson, Jr.

  Mr. Ernest Lee Thompson, Jr., affectionally known as “Frog” of 159 Nance Forest Drive in Newberry, SC entered into Eternal rest on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at his residence. He was born on July 29, 1962 in Newberry, SC to the late Mr. Ernest Lee Thompson, Sr. and the late Mrs. Bobbie Jean Koon Thompson.

Ernest was a member of Saint James A.M.E. Church in Pomaria, SC.

He was predeceased by aunts, Polly Koon, Reenay Sims, Shirley Turner, Mary Tribble and Brenda Koon; uncles, Willie Koon and Dolphus Koon.

Those who celebrate his life and cherish precious and loving memories are one sister, Recarolyn K. Thompson of Newberry, SC; one niece, Antiona Griffin of Newberry, SC; nephew, DeAntonio Griffin of Newberry, SC; aunts, Julia Barnes of Shelby, NC, Margaret K. Goree (Robert), Teressa Sanders (James), Jennifer Koon, Tina Koon, Prescilla Henderson and Francis Elkins, all of Newberry, SC and Dorries Nelson (Deloyde) of Prosperity, SC; uncles, Willie Sims and Marcus Turner; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Saint James A.M.E. Church in Pomaria, SC (viewing one hour prior to the service).
