Mr. John Edward Harmon

John Edward Harmon was born on April 27, 1958, the son of Lillie M. Harmon and the late John T. Harmon. He met his heavenly angels on May 12,2021 at Providence Hospital in Columbia South Carolina. He was preceded in death by his sister Beverly and his brother Anthony. He is survived by his loving Mother, ten devoted siblings, Walter, Thomas, Lady Sarah, Gloria, Curtis, Kathleen, Jacqueline, Tracey, Rebecca and Annetta.  five beautiful children Shajuan Harmon, Deon Lucas Harmon, Joshua Berryman and John E. Harmon Jr. Other loving children reared as his own Onika Lucas, John Lucas, Toya Lopez, Greg Lopez, Thomas Lopez, and Kenny Lopez all of RI.  He was married to Julie Maybin of SC.
He was a gentle soul and kept to himself. He was a loving father, and loyal friend, a hard worker, he was a direct and nonchalant kind of guy, hilarious, family oriented and friendly. He is deeply loved by his family and will be missed.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the parlor of Wilson Funeral Home.

Interment will be held at a later date in Woonsocket, Rhode Island.

Wilson Funeral Home of Newberry is assisting the family with his arrangements.
