Mr. Marion Stoudemire

Marion Stoudemire, Jr., beloved son of the late Marion Stoudemire, Sr., and Juanita Praylow- Stoudemire was born on February 15, 1958.

A precious grandson of the late L.B. Praylow and Josephine Praylow along with George Stoudemire and Eva Cannon Stoudemire.

He was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Lexington Medical Center.

He was educated in the Newberry County Schools and was a former employee of Bedenbaugh Logging, Inc. of Prosperity, SC.

Preceding him in death are his brothers, Roy Lee Stoudemire, Sr., and John Henry Stoudemire.

Left to cherish his loving memories are his daughter, Winifred Eileen Boozer of Newberry, SC; one sister JoAnn Stoudemire of Prosperity, SC; three brothers, Randy Stoudemire of Chapin, SC, Bennie Stoudemire of Fairfax, SC and Elmurry Stoudemire of Prosperity, SC; one sister in law, JoAnne Stoudemire of Newberry, SC; two aunts, Betty Abney of Columbia, SC and Mattie Stephens of Whitmire, SC; one uncle, Willie Mack Stoudemire of Prosperity, SC; two grandchildren, Amanda and Amber Boozer of Newberry, SC; two devoted friends, Janet Newman and Steven “ Chum Chum” Arthur of Newberry, SC; a loving niece, Essence Stoudemire and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 9, 2022 from 1 to 7 PM in the parlor of Wilson Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Mt. Moriah A.M.E Church, 1628 Ira Kinard Rd, Prosperity, SC 29127.  Dr. Sherry Highbaugh, Pastor.
