Mr. Ralph Brown

Mr. Ralph Brown, affectionately known as “Uncle Bo Pete” to family and friends was born on December 24, 1947 to the late Willie Brown and Maybell Moon Brown.

 He was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Newberry Memorial Hospital.

 Mr. Brown was the last survivor of his immediate family. He attended school in Newberry County and was known in the community for doing various odd and end types jobs for many businesses in Newberry and Prosperity, South Carolina.

Mr. Brown was predeceased by his siblings, Mary Lee Stephens, Willie Mae Kibler, Gladys Mae Wise, Odus Lee Brown and Dora Mae Stephens.

Those left to cherish his loving memories are one son, Johnny Wise of Newberry, SC; one daughter, Laura Cooper Henry (Joey) of Newberry, SC; seven grandchildren, four great- grandchildren, one devoted niece and caregiver, Ella Mae Mitchell; one devoted great niece and caregiver, Hope Mitchell Baker; one devoted nephew, Jerry Stephens; one sister in Law, Eva Mae Brown; friends at Bethlehem Apt #918 C, the Grille on Main in Newberry and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 from 1-7 pm at Wilson Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Lower Mount Olive A.M.E Church, 2532 Wheeland School Rd, Prosperity, SC 29127.
