Mr. Randolph "Doc" Ruff

Mr. Randolph “Doc” Ruff entered into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, November 25, 2018, at J.F. Hawkins Nursing Home of Newberry. He was born on April 30, 1948, in Newberry County, SC, to the late Mr. H.N. Ruff and the late Magnolia Sims Ruff.

He was a member of Pleasant Grove A.M.E. Church and was a member of the Sons of Aid Society Lodge #57.

Mr. Ruff attended Newberry Disabilities and Special Needs for many years and he was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

He was preceded to Heaven by two brothers, Thomas and Cecil Ruff.

Those who celebrate his life and cherish precious and loving memories include his brother, Eugene Ruff of Prosperity, SC; four sisters, Dorothy Means, Margaret Ruff, Shirley Werts (Pastor Harry) and Deloris Gray all of Newberry, SC; one aunt, Vera Sims of Greenville, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at the home (2327 Emory Street, Newberry, SC).

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Pleasant Grove A.M.E Church (viewing one hour prior to the service). Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
