Mr. Red Minick Johnson Davis

Mr. Red Minick Johnson Davis, son of the late JamesDaniel Davis, Sr. and the late Lillie Ree Kinard Davis, was born March 4, 1967, in Newberry, South Carolina, He entered into Eternal Rest on Monday, October 3, 2016, at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

He was a member of Little River Zion Baptist Church in Kinards, SC.

Mr. Davis was employed by the Newberry Feed and Farm Inc.

Those who celebrate his life and cherish precious and loving memories are his daughter, Kacie Davis; three brothers, Spencer Davis, James Davis, Jr. (Shondera) and Michael Davis, all of Newberry, SC; three sisters, Diane Laymon and Mary Lee Harmon (Willie), both of Newberry, SC and Rosa Mae Anderson of Laurens, SC; two aunts, Lucinda Simmons and Izola Kinard, both of Clinton, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at the home of his sister, Mary Lee Harmon (Willie) (1606 Drayton Street, Newberry, SC).

Funeral service and burial will be held 3:00 p.m. on Monday, October 10, 2016 at Little River Zion Baptist Church, 9012 Highway 56 S, Kinards, SC (viewing one hour prior to the service).
