Mr. Roy Lee Stoudemire

Roy Lee Stoudemire Sr., son of the late Marion Stoudemire Sr. and Juanita Praylow-Stoudemire was born on November 18, 1954.  He was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Lexington Medical Center.

He was educated in Newberry County Schools.  He was the sole owner of Stoudemire Cleaning LLC of Columbia, SC.

Those left to cherish his loving memories are his wife, Joe Ann Stoudemire of Newberry, SC and devoted partner, Priscilla Grant of Gaston, SC.  His children Brandi (Eric) Barnes of Columbia, SC, Roy II (Cheritta) Stoudemire of West Columbia, SC, Ruthie (Moussa) Toure, Aimee Gallman, and Luther Gallman of Newberry, SC.  His sister, JoAnn Stoudemire and four brothers Randy Stoudemire, Marion Stoudemire Jr., Bennie Stoudemire and Elmurry Stoudemire: devoted aunts and uncle Mattie Stephens, Betty Abney and Mack Stoudemire and a loving niece Essence Stoudemire.  His grandchildren Kennedi Stoudemire and Tyler Stoudemire of West Columbia, SC, Logan Barnes of Columbia, SC, Jarian Grant Jr., Keinya Grant and Demir Muller of the home and 14 other grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2022  from 2:00 pm till 6:00 pm at Wilson Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 pm Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Mt. Moriah AME Church in Prosperity, SC.

Because of Covid 19 we ask everyone attending the visitation and service to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
