Mr. Thomas Cox

Thomas Edward Cox was born on December 5, 1950 in Queens New York to the late Robert and Carrie Cox. He departed this life on September 15, 2023 at his home.

 He received his education in New York and later served in the United States Marine Corps. 

Tommy, as he was often referred to by most, was always a sharp dresser. He was always seen with impeccable creases in all his jeans and loved to dance.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Robert Cox Jr. and sister Carrie M. Williams.

He leaves to cherish fond memories; a daughter, Tamisha Cox Wormley (Aza); three grandchildren, John Malik Bryant, Asiah Bryant and Miya Wormley; two brothers, John Cox and William Cox; a sister-in-law, Linda Hobson; his cousin, George Williams who was his best friend and caregiver until the end; a niece, Octavia Jones who he was very close to and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews along with other family members and friends.

Tommy will be missed dearly as he rests in heaven with the Lord, dancing among angels.
