Mrs. Annie Mae Jeter affectionally known to family and friends as “Mickey” of 467 Bush River Road, Newberry, SC entered into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Newberry, SC on September 19, 1932 to the late Mr. Waymon Robinson and the late Mrs. Anna Robinson.
Mrs. Jeter was a member of Saint Matthew Baptist Church. She served on the Missionary Society and was a member of usher board. She was also a member of the Woman’s Home Aid Society.
Mrs. Jeter was predeceased by her husband, Mr. William Jeter, one daughter, Libby Ann Robinson three grandchildren; one brother and six sisters.
She retired from Louis Rich Company.
Those who celebrate her life and cherish precious and loving memories include three sons, Bruce Robinson of Clinton, SC, Willie Michael Robinson and Tony Robinson (Greta) of Newberry, SC; two daughters, Patricia Swittenburg of Simpsonville, SC and Phyllis Ann Robinson of the home; twenty-two grandchildren including a granddaughter, Monique Scurry (Chavis) reared in home; forty-two great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces including a devoted niece, Mrs. Carrie Pearl Gallman, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends at the home (467 Bush River Road, Newberry).
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Saint Matthew Baptist Church, 61 Boundary Street, Newberry. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens.
