Mrs. Deborah Elaine (Longshore) Boyd

Mrs. Deborah Elaine Longshore Boyd 54, wife of Leon Boyd and daughter of Lloyd Longshore and Delores Neal, was born on May 14, 1968 in Newberry County. She entered eternal rest on Friday, March 3, 2023 at her residence.

She was predeceased in death by her grandparents, Ellis Wise and Ozzie Wertz Goggans; Eugene Longshore, Minnie Longshore, Willie Neal, Cora Neal, Thomas Werts, Sallie Werts, Jerome Longshore, Nathaniel Wise, Haskett Werts, Thomas Werts Jr., Willie Jasper, Fred Neal, Lillie Werts, Lula M. Rainer, Doris Plummer and Estelle Oxner.

Loving memories will continue through her husband, Leon Boyd of Newberry, SC; her father, Lloyd Longshore of Washington, DC; her mother, Delores (Ernest) Neal of Anderson, SC; two sisters, Beverly Neal of Alabama and Desiree Longshore of Washington, DC; four brothers, Troy (Tia) Neal of Anderson, SC, Earnest (April) Neal of Anderson, SC, Jonathan Neal of Charlotte, NC and  Lloyd Longshore, Jr., of Washington, DC;  mother in- law, Martha Boyd of Prosperity, SC; three uncles, Tommy Wise of Anderson, SC, James ( Dorothy) Goggans and Ellis (Verda Mae) Wise both of Newberry, SC; two devoted nieces, Kaweisha Neal and Deza Neal both of Anderson, SC; two brothers-in-law, Maurice Boyd and Greg Boyd Of Saluda, SC; a sister-in law, Tarsha Boyd of Saluda, SC; a step daughter, Laquesha Morris of Prosperity, SC; a devoted cousin, Latoya Plummer and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service is scheduled for 1:00 pm Friday March 10, 2023 at Brown Chapel AME Church in Newberry, SC.

The family is receiving visitors at the home of her uncle, Mr. James ( Dorothy) Goggans, 255 Brown Chapel Rd, Newberry, SC.

A face mask or covering is required to enter the home.
