Mrs. Lois Austin Miller

Mrs. Lois Austin Miller, 88, of 615 Daisy Street in Newberry, SC entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 27, 2020 at the Newberry County Memorial Hospital in Newberry, SC. She was born in Jalapa, SC on April 8, 1931 to the late Mr. James “Boy” Austin and the late Mrs. Emma Toland Austin.

She was a member of Mount Zion A.M.E. Church in Jalapa.

Those who celebrate her life and cherish precious and loving memories include a son, Albert P. Miller, Jr. (Detra), Albert P. Miller III (Trey) (grandson), Rehgan Miller (granddaughter), Requita L. Miller (granddaughter) and her two sons Zane E. Myers and Rylan (great grandsons); a son Walter Ray Miller, Michael Ray Miller (grandson); and a son, Johnny Miller, Shanique M. Miller and Arnancia J. Miller (granddaughters), Justin Lasoya (great grandson); two brothers, Reverend James Alston (Beatrice) of Columbia, SC and David Alston (Margaret) of Prosperity, SC; five sisters, Hazel Sturkey of Clinton, SC, Quester Alston West of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Dorothy Holmes (Arthur) of Columbia, SC, Emma  Lee Williams (Gene) and Linda Davis both of Newberry, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.    

The family will receive friends at the home (615 Daisy Street, Newberry).
