Mrs. Lucy Mae Hiller, daughter of the late Mr. James William Long and the late Mrs. Nancy Mae Mars Long was born March 12, 1966 in Newberry, South Carolina. She departed this earthly life and entered into a peaceful eternal rest on August 10, 2020 in her home in Silverstreet, SC.
Lucy was the most exemplary wife and mother any soul upon this earth could hope for. She was a 1986 graduate of Newberry High School. A passionate viewer of the soap operas "Young & The Restless" and "The Bold & The Beautiful." Her slice of paradice was walking along the coastline with the soft touch of the wind at her back in Myrtle Beach. An avid reader and huge fan of books, a hobby she picked up from her late brother Mr. Willie Eugene Long, who also left this world on the same date August 10th in 2006.
Mrs Hiller was predeceased by her two sisters, Evelyn Johnson and Eliza Mae Mars-Long Toland and one brother, Willie Eugene Long.
Carrying on her indomitable spirit and unwavering love is her husband Bobby Hiller; two sons Robert W. Hiller and Bobby E. Long of Silverstreet SC; four sisters, Edith Long, Nancy Long, Zina (Moris) Davis and Vida Long, all of Newberry, SC; three brothers, George Long and Calvin (Gloria) Long of Newberry, SC, Andrew (Linda) Long of Silverstreet, SC; a very devoted mother-in-law Tassie M. Hiller and father-in-law Randall Davenport of Silverstreet, SC; brothers-in-law, Robert (Pat) Hiller, Randall Hiller, Andrew Hiller, and Charles Hiller, all of Newberry, SC; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
There will be visitation at Wilson Funeral Home Thursday August 13, 2020 from 10:30 am until 9:00 pm.
