Mrs. Mary Lou (Caughman) Jerry

Mrs. Mary Lou Caughman Jerry, daughter of the late Eddie Caughman, Sr., and the late Juliet Burno Caughman was born on October 19, 1931 in Lexington County. She departed this life peacefully on April 12, 2023 at her home.

She was a member of Providence AME Church in Little Mountain, South Carolina.

Mrs. Jerry was predeceased by her husband, James A. Jerry; a son, Johnny Jay; brothers, Allen, Paul, Eddie, Matthew and Jimmy Caughman; sisters, Margie Caughman, Burnette Caughman, Lillian Caughman, Orange Lee McGee and Hattie Thompson.

Those who celebrate her life and cherish precious and loving memories are her daughter, Barbara Ann Jerry Brown of New York; a grandson, Theodore R. Jerry of New York; four great- grandchildren; one sister Pearline Tobe of Baltimore, MD; a brother, Earl Caughman of Chapin, SC; one brother- in-law, Samuel Jerry of Decatur, Ga; one sister-in-law, Gracie Jerry and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 21, 2023 from 1 to 6 pm in the parlor of Wilson Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mother Jerry will be conducted on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 1:00 pm in the sanctuary of Providence AME Church, 301 Meadowlark Rd, Little Mountain, SC.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

A face mask is required at the church the day of the service.
