Mrs. Patricia Ann Sims

Mrs. Patricia Ann Nelson Sims, 66, beloved daughter of the late Benjamin and Victoria Hall Nelson, was born December 2, 1954 in Newberry County. She peacefully departed this life on Sunday, February 7, 2021 in Newberry Memorial Hospital.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband Joseph Sims, one daughter; Mary Pat Sims (Jesuz Barcenas) of Batesburg, SC, one son; Jody Sims of Newberry, SC, one stepdaughter; Tonya Glymph (Carlos) of Newberry, SC, one stepson; Jermaine Sims of New York, NY, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren, four sisters; Margaret Hill of Newberry, SC, Evenny (Clarence) Lyles of Winnsboro, SC, Unathelma Gladney of Thomasville, NC and Queen Lake of Anderson, SC, four brothers; Otis Nelson, Billy Nelson, David Nelson of Newberry, SC and Johnny Nelson of Thomasville, NC, a mother-in-law; Dorothy Mae Wheeler of Prosperity, SC, six sisters-in-law; Jessie Mae Sims of Newberry, SC, Peggy Spearman of Lexington, SC, Janie Mae Sims of Prosperity, SC, Josephine Wheeler of Newberry, SC, Janette W Simmons (Terrance) of Chapin, SC and Dottie Gray (Terry) of Newberry, SC, three brothers-in-law; James Sims of Newberry, SC, Terry Wheeler and Walter Wheeler of Prosperity, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be held Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 1pm to 7pm in the Williams, Wilson and Goudelock Memorial Chapel of Wilson Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the Williams, Wilson and Goudelock Memorial Chapel of Wilson Funeral Home.
