Ms. Deborah Ann Langford of 554 Cypress Lake Road, Newberry, SC entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May, 24, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Newberry County, SC on October 09, 1960 to the late Mrs. Lee Ruth Langford Chandler and the late Mr. John Henry Reeder.
Deborah was a member of Saint Vaughnville Baptist Church in Chappells, SC. She was the president of the church choir, one of the top fundraisers of the church and former Queen of the Saint Vaughnville Baptist Association.
Deborah retired from Kraft Heinz formerly known as “Louis Rich”.
She was predeceased by brothers, John Edward Reeder, Willie Rufus Reeder, Robert Lee Langford and Freddie Reeder and sisters, Effie Reeder Simpson, Melvin Louise Mims, Bessie Lucille Reeder and Willie Mae Bouey.
Those who celebrate her life and cherish precious and loving memories include two sons, Derrick Wright of Columbia, SC, and Kevis Price (Shenice Hall) of Newberry, SC; two daughters, Kashunda Wright-Williams (Frank) and Precious Price of Newberry, SC; grandchildren, Tra’von Gallman, Chandler Gallman, Taylor Kinard, Mekenzie Kinard, Jayden Young and Arya Price; brothers, James Reeder (Bessie) of Cross Hill, SC, Otis Langford (Linda), Ronald Langford (Rosa), Gregory Langford (Doris) of Newberry, SC, and Alvin Smith of Chappells, SC; sisters, Katie Toland (Joe) of Clinton, SC, Daisy Mae Smoot (Harold) and Lula Ree Crawford of Cross Hill, SC, Janice Wilson (Larry) of Newberry, SC, Carrie Long of Spartanburg, SC, and Inez Pitts of Newberry, SC; brotherin-law, Lewis Junior Simpson; sisters-in-law; two special friends, Helen Gladney and Sheryl Kinard; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at Saint Vaughnville Baptist Church in Chappells, SC. Burial will follow in the Newberry Memorial Gardens. Due to the health conditions and concerns social distancing will be required.
