Ms. Mary Elizabeth Thompson

Ms. Mary Elizabeth Thompson, 84, of 911 Booker Street, Newberry entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 18, 2019 at Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, SC. She born in Newberry on January 20, 1935 to the late Mr. Sammie Thompson and the late Mrs. Daisy Williams Thompson.

She was a member of Hannah A.M.E. Church in Newberry. She was also a member of the Woman’s Home Aid Society.

Mary was predeceased by one brother, Otis Thompson and a sister, Ruth Davenport.

Those who celebrate her life and cherish precious and loving memories include one brother, William Thompson of the home; a sister-in-law, Selenia Thompson of McCormick, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Saint Matthew Baptist Church in Newberry.
