Ms.Patricia A. Swittenburg

Ms. Patricia Ann Swittenburg, beloved daughter of the late Forest Swittenburg Jr., and Daisy H. Swittenburg was born on February 15, 1955.  She departed this earthly life on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Prisma Health Baptist Hospital.

Patricia received her elementary and secondary education from Newberry County Schools and a member of the Mid- Carolina High School Class of 1973.  After graduation, she attended Palmer Business School in Philadelphia, PA. After graduating college, she worked many years in the banking industry. Patricia later changed careers and became a Medical Billing Associate with Keystone Insurance Network before returning to live in Prosperity, South Carolina.

Patricia was a member of Shiloh A. M. E. Church.

Patricia leaves to cherish her memories two sisters, Adrienne Swittenburg of the home and Joyce Boatwright (Desmond) of Columbia, SC; two nieces, Imani Boatwright of Lithonia, GA and Ashanti Boatwright; one nephew, Desmond N. Boatwright of Columbia SC; four aunts, Annie Tobe of New Jersey, Loretta Sheldon (Ronald Sr.) of Pennsauken, NJ; Mary Ethel Gray (Joseph) of Philadelphia, PA, Mildred Wise (Moses) of Prosperity, SC; three uncles, Carl Hare (Hazel), Jimmy Hare Sr, (Donna) of Collegeville, PA and Johnathan Hare of Philadelphia, PA;  she also leaves a host of cousins and friends.

Memorial Services for Ms. Swittenburg will be conducted 3PM on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Wilson Funeral Home, 64 Boundary St, Newberry, SC 29108.
