Otis Cromer, Jr. born in Newberry County to the late Otis Cromer, Sr. and the late Margaree Ruff Cromer.
Mr. Otis Cromer entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at J.F. Hawkins Nursing Home in Newberry, S.C. Born December 8, 1935.
He was a member of the Son of Aid Society Lodge #46 and a retired
Logger.
Mr. Cromer was preceded in death by three sisters, Patricia Counts, Shirley Mae Wicker, and Martha Livingston; six brothers, David Lee Cromer. Eddie Morris Cromer, Roger Cromer, Setzler Cromer, Charles Douglas, and Larry Cromer.
Those left to celebrate his life and cherished memories are his only son, Albert(Cathy) Walker, Sr, grandchildren, Alicia(Keith Sr.) Chapman, Albert Wilson, Albert Walker, Jr., Gregory Walker, Sr., and Gerald Walker. Twenty-nine great-grandchildren, seventeen great-great-grandchildren. Loving sister Narvis Cromer, all of Newberry, S.C. A host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. One devoted nephew, Joseph Livingston.
Visitation will be held 1-5pm Sunday February 15 , 2026, Wilson Funeral Home Newberry, SC.
Funeral Service will be conducted 2pm Monday February 16, 2026, St. James AME Church Pomaria, SC.
Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
