Thomas J. Blackwell Jr.

Mr. Thomas Blackwell Jr. was born February 2, 1965 in Newberry, SC to T.J. Blackwell Sr. and Loraine Blackwell. He entered into eternal rest on July 8, 2023 at Agape House of Lexington.

Mr. Blackwell was employed with Atlanta Postal Service as a mail carrier, Wal-Mart and Lowes.

Mr. Blackwell was predeceased in death by his wife, Cecilia Agnes Blackwell and a sister, Ida Denise Blackwell.

Loving memories will be cherished by his mother, Loraine Vaughn Blackwell; his father, T.J. Blackwell Sr; three brothers, Timothy Blackwell of Chappells, SC, Jeffrey Blackwell Sr. (Ashlie) of Silverstreet, SC and Willie Cannon; two uncles, Willie Vaughn and Tyrone Vaughn; five nephews, Eli Hunter (Melina), Kevin Hunter (Katrin), Thomas Blackwell, Jeffrey Blackwell Jr and Jonathan Blackwell; two nieces, Alyssa Blackwell and Carliss Blackwell; a special cousin, Betty J. Hopkins; special friends of the family, Debra G. Bonnette, Louise G. Spears, Dorothy Williams and John Cureton and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 19, 2023 from 1 to 5 pm in the parlor of Wilson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Wilson Funeral Home, 64 Boundary St, Newberry, SC 29108.

Interment will follow in Welch Zion Baptist Church cemetery.
