Willie Mack Stoudemire

 Mr. Willie Mack Stoudemire, 80, was born June 22, 1942 in Newberry County to the late George Stoudemire and Eva Cannon-Stoudemire. Willie passed away peacefully August 6, 2022 in the home with his niece Joann Stoudemire.

Mr. Stoudemire attended the public schools in Prosperity and worked for Bedenbaugh and Brice Boozer for many years.  Willie was known as “Macky” and “Uncle Macky” to many.

 He was preceded in death by his parents as well as 17 siblings.

Willie leaves to cherish his memories his devoted nieces, Lula Stoudemire and Shirley Jean Stoudemire; devoted nephews, Jimmy Stoudemire, Calvin Stoudemire and Albert Bookman; devoted great great- nieces, Jada Wise and Ori E. Dominick “ Big Girl,” both who he loved dearly; a sister in law, Florence Stoudemire and other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 1 to 6 pm in the parlor of Wilson Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm on  Friday, August 12, 2022 at Mt. Moriah A. M. E. Church, 1628 Ira Kinard Rd, Prosperity, SC 29127. Rev. Sherry Highbaugh, Pastor.
