This mission of the Newberry County Probate Court is to provide justice under the law, equally, impartially, and expeditiously. As servants to the public, we are dedicated to a continuous quest to provide the highest quality of support and assistance with sensitivity and understanding.

AARP is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization with a membership that helps people age 50 and over have independence, choice and control in ways that are beneficial and affordable to them and society as a whole, ways that help people 50 and over improve their lives

The Newberry Observer was founded in 1883 by the late William Henry Wallace, who served as editor until his death in 1924. Wallace, who was born in the Belfast section of the county, fought in the Confederacy until the surrender of Johnson's armies in 1864.

The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) is the state agency charged with protecting public health, DHEC's Office of Public Health Statistics and Information Services (PHSIS) offers a wide range of services to customers. The Division of Vital Records is the state's official records keeper for vital information pertaining to births, deaths, marriages, and divorces occurring in South Carolina.

We also have a presence in U.S. embassies around the globe. For the public, we are the “face of the government.” The rich diversity of our employees mirrors the public we serve.
