Miss Brandi Malika Oxner

Miss Brandi Malika Oxner was born on August 10, 1981, in Newberry, South Carolina to Mrs. Sandra Glasgow Oxner and the late Mr. Calvin Oxner. She entered into Eternal Rest on Saturday, April 2, 2016, at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC.

She was a member of Mount Moriah A.M.E. Church in Prosperity, SC where she served as the Secretary of the Trustee Board and assisted with the Young People’s Department of the church. She was also a member of the Woman’s Home Aid Society, Lodge No. 23.

She was employed with Walmart as a Manager in the Deli Department.

Those who celebrate her life and cherish precious and loving memories are her daughter of the home, Madison Nyajha Oxner; mother, Mrs. Sandra Glasgow Oxner of Prosperity, SC; four sisters, LaShawnda Thornhill (Mark) and Cristin Atchison (Jevaras), both of Prosperity, SC, Tonya McFall of Alpharetta, Georgia and Khadijah Oxner of Newberry, SC; one brother, Justin Bookman of Newberry, SC; three nephews; three nieces; three aunts, Bobbie Harp of Decatur, Georgia, Johnie Mae Bookman of Prosperity, SC and Margaret Oxner of Little Mountain, SC; five great-aunts, and a host of cousins including two devoted cousins, Debra Wise and Dorothy Bookman and friends including three devoted friends, Antony Caldwell, Brandy Wise and Virginia Myers.

Funeral service and burial will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 8, 2016 at Mount Moriah A.M.E. Church, 1628 Ira Kinard Road, Prosperity, SC (viewing one hour prior to the service).
