Mrs. Nancy Ruff Metts

Mrs. Nancy Ruff Metts, of Hillpine Road, Columbia, SC, was the daughter of the late Mr. Murray Ruff and the late Mrs. Louise Holley Ruff, was born May 18, 1953, in Prosperity, South Carolina. She entered into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, February 16, 2017, at her residence.

She was a former employee of The Heritage at Lowman in White Rock, South Carolina.

Her husband, Theodore Metts, and four brothers, Theodore Ruff, Kenneth Ruff, Johnny Ray Ruff and Randy Counts; one sister, Vernell Ruff Jones, preceded her to Heaven.

Those who celebrate her life and cherish precious and loving memories include one son, Reverend Michael Ruff, Sr. (Cynathia) of Greensboro, NC; four daughters, Tracy Richardson and Latrevia Lindsay, both of Pomaria, SC, Stacy Lindsay of Newberry, SC, and Vernell P. Ruff of Columbia, SC; 16 grandchildren, including Michael, Falaunda, Kendall and Tiffany, who were reared in the home; 14 great grandchildren; one brother, Walter Clayron Ruff (Shirley) of Pomaria, SC; two sisters, Rita Ruff and Nita Williams, both of Prosperity, SC; one aunt, Annie Lee Holley of Prosperity, SC; three brothers-in-law; five sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Newberry, SC.
