My sincere condolences to the family - I am sorry to hear of your loss. It was never the Creatorโs purpose for mankind to suffer or to die (Romans 5:12). I hope you are comforted by the "God of all comfort" who promises to comfort us (2 Corinthians 1:3, 4). If you would like more information as to why we die please visit jw.org. We will always cherish and remember Mamie for her loving hospitality given on the 4th Sunday in August-Gethesmane Baptist Church Family Day. Every year Mamie assisted her sister, Faye with that tradition mixed with love and she will be truly missed. It is traditions, warmth and dependability served with love which will be missed so much. To Faye, Lenzy and the family, we are deeply saddened by the passing of your sister Mamie. Weโll always remember Mamie fondly and feel lucky that we had the pleasure of knowing Mamie. Mamie will be much missed. Your Spartanburg family is thinking about you and sending lots of love. Our hearts are saddened by your loss and our thoughts and prayers are with you.
