Mrs. Sadie Mae Meetze Corley

Mrs. Sadie Mae Meetze Corley, of 7304 Mowers Street, Irmo, South Carolina entered into the arms of Jesus on Monday, February 1, 2016 at her residence. She was born in Irmo, SC, to the late Mr. Paul Meetze and the late Mrs. Minnie Geiger Meetze.

She was a faithful member of Young’s Chapel A.M.E. Church of Irmo, SC.

Mrs. Corley was preceded to Heaven by her husband, Robert Curtis Corley, Sr.; a son, Ronnie Eugene Corley; a daughter, Bessie Owens, two grandsons, Keon Corley and King Mayers; granddaughter, LaTeresa Marie Owens; one brother, Jasper “Jack” Meetze; sisters, Martha Hiller, Jose Bynum, Frances Green, Elizabeth McCullough, Isolene Hope, Ollie Gillum and Bessie Medlin

Those who celebrate her life and cherish precious and loving memories are seven sons, Robert C. Corley, Jr. (Margaret) of Irmo, SC, David A. Corley, Sr. (Gail) of Columbia, SC, Timothy R. Corley (Vicki) of Columbia, SC,  Reverend Milton Benjamin Corley (Regina) of Blythewood, SC, Jerome Corley of North Carolina, Wilbur A. Corley of West Virginia ; four daughters, Sheliah L. Corley, Tonia Munday (Isaac) , Ann Jones and Bridgett Corley all of Columbia, SC; 27 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; six sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law; and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at the home of her son, David A. Corley, Sr. (601 Valleywood, Court, Columbia, SC) starting at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 3, 2016.

Visitation for Mrs. Corley will be from 6:00 P.M.- 7:30 P.M. on Friday, February 5, 2016 at Young's Chapel A.M.E. Church.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Young’s Chapel A.M.E. Church, 7336 Carlisle Street, Irmo, SC. (viewing one hour prior to the service).
