Mrs. Jennie Dreher Mayers

Mrs. Jennie Dreher Mayers, daughter of the late Mr. John Henry Dreher and the late Mrs. Emily Bowers Dreher, was born in Chapin, South Carolina, on April 25, 1942. She entered into Eternal Rest on Wednesday, April 6, 2016.

She was a member of Providence A.M.E. Church and she served as a Steward, President of the Missionary Society, member of the Usher Board and member of the Pulpit Aid.

Two sons, Charles Bernard Mayers and John Henry Mayers, preceded her to Heaven.

Those who celebrate her life and cherish precious and loving memories are her husband, Charles B. Mayers of the home; two sons, Robert Mayers (April) of Chapin, SC and Terry Mayers (Shreese) of Irmo, SC; a stepdaughter, Brenda Harmon of Chapin, SC; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Susie D. Mayers (Lonnie) of Chapin, SC; six brothers-in-law, five sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service and burial will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Satuday, April 9, 2016 at Providence A.M.E. Church, 701 Meadowlark Road, Little Mountain, SC (viewing one hour prior to the service).
